Job summary

Pertemps North Midlands is seeking a Class 1 HGV Driver to trunk goods across the UK from East Midlands Gateway, with no handball required.

This is long-term work with potential permanent opportunities; shifts are Days - Monday to Friday with OT rates after 9.6 hours daily and an additional shift rate.

Qualifications

• Must hold a Class 1 license for a minimum of 6 months.
• Must have a valid tachograph/tacho and DQC card.
• Positive can-do attitude is required.

Job description

Class 1 HGV Driver

Pertemps have long term stable work for Class 1 HGV Drivers to work for our client based out of East Midlands Gateway where they pay daily OT rates. As a Class 1 HGV Driver you will undertake trunking work to other company sites, NDC's and RDC's.This is clean work with no handball and presents long term work for Class 1 HGV Drivers. There will be opportunities to be taken on permanent as well should that be a pathway you'd like to explore.

Shift Patterns / Working Hours Available

• Days - Monday to Friday

The successful Class 1 Driver will

• Have a valid Class 1 License for a minimum of 6 months
• Have a valid tacho and DQC card
• Have a positive can do attitude

Your duties as a Class 1 HGV Driver will include

• Trunking goods around the UK - No handball
• Trailer swaps and backloads

You will receive

• Days - £16.95 per hour
• Days OT after 9.6 hours daily - £25.43 per hour
• 6th Shift - £25.43 per hour
