Job summary

Pertemps North Midlands is recruiting for a Class 1 HGV Driver to work from East Midlands Gateway. This role involves trunking goods to various UK sites with no manual handling and offers long-term possibilities, including permanent opportunities.

You will need a valid Class 1 license for at least 6 months, a valid tachograph card and a DQC card, and a positive can-do attitude. Nights shifts pay £19.40 per hour, with overtime after 9.6 hours at £29.10 per hour.

Qualifications

• Must have a valid Class 1 license for a minimum of 6 months.
• Must hold a valid tachograph card (Tacho) and DQC card.
• Possess a positive, can-do attitude.

Responsibilities

• Trunk goods around the UK with no handball.
• Manage trailer swaps and backloads between sites.
