Job summary

Pertemps are recruiting for Class 1 HGV Drivers to work for our client based out of East Midlands Gateway with daily OT rates. Duties include trunking to other sites, NDCs and RDCs, with no handball required. Long-term work with potential permanent opportunities is available.

Shifts include Nights (Sun-Thu or Mon-Fri). Requirements: valid Class 1 license for 6+ months, valid tachograph and DQC card, and a positive attitude.

Job description

Class 1 HGV Driver

Pertemps are recruiting for Class 1 HGV Drivers to work for our client based out of East Midlands Gateway where they pay daily OT rates. As a Class 1 HGV Driver you will undertake trunking work to other company sites, NDC's and RDC's. This is clean work with no handball and presents long term work for Class 1 HGV Drivers. There will be opportunities to be taken on permanent as well should that be a pathway you'd like to explore.

Shift Patterns / Working Hours Available:

• Nights - Sunday to Thursday or Monday to Friday

The successful Class 1 Driver will:

• Have a valid Class 1 License for a minimum of 6 months
• Have a valid tacho and DQC card
• Have a positive can do attitude

Your duties as a Class 1 HGV Driver will include:

• Trunking goods around the UK - No handball
• Trailer swaps and backloads

You will receive:

• Nights - £19.40 per hour
• Nights OT after 9.6 hours daily - £29.10 per hour
• 6th shift - £29.10 per hour
