Pertemps is recruiting a Class 1 HGV Driver for trunking work from East Midlands Gateway. This long-term role offers daily OT rates, with potential for permanent opportunities.

You will trunk goods around the UK, perform trailer swaps and backloads, and enjoy a straightforward, clean operation with no handball. Weekly or monthly pay options, pension, and annual leave are provided.

Job description

Class 1 HGV Driver

Pertemps have long term stable work for Class 1 HGV Drivers to work for our client based out of East Midlands Gateway where they pay daily OT rates. As a Class 1 HGV Driver you will undertake trunking work to other company sites, NDC's and RDC's.This is clean work with no handball and presents long term work for Class 1 HGV Drivers. There will be opportunities to be taken on permanent as well should that be a pathway you'd like to explore.

Shift Patterns / Working Hours Available:

• + Days - Monday to Friday

The successful Class 1 Driver will:

• + Have a valid Class 1 License for a minimum of 6 months
• + Have a valid tacho and DQC card
• + Have a positive can do attitude

Your duties as a Class 1 HGV Driver will include:

• + Trunking goods around the UK - No handball
• + Trailer swaps and backloads

You will receive:

• + Days - £16.95 per hour
• + Days OT after 9.6 hours daily - £25.43 per hour
• + 6th Shift - £25.43 per hour
