Job summary

Crerar Hotels is hiring a Day Porter & Concierge on a full-time basis to support reception, housekeeping and food and beverage teams across our Scottish hotels. You will handle porterage, guest services and assist with events, while maintaining impeccable standards and a welcoming presence.

As a Day Porter & Concierge at Crerar Hotels, you will support our reception, housekeeping and food and beverage teams with porterage, guest services and some food & beverage service as required. You must take pride in your work, presenting yourself well and delivering exceptional customer service. This full-time role, which includes weekend shifts, covers a range of duties, including overseeing security, setting up function rooms for events, storing furniture and equipment, and following end-of-day procedures. You will also assist with guests' food and beverage needs, support reception with porterage and guest services, and assist housekeeping with guest requests. With your attention to detail, you’ll ensure high standards are maintained. Personable and engaging, you will interact with guests to exceed their expectations and may be asked to assist the cleaning, bar, and reception teams or act as duty manager when required. There will also be a requirement for sickness and holiday cover for our night management team.
