Job summary

Crerar Hotels is hiring a Night Porter to manage the night desk and ensure smooth operations from 23:00 to 07:00 across our Scotland hotels. You will oversee security, set up function rooms for events and assist guests with night-time food and beverage needs.

Previous night experience in a hotel is preferred, and you will produce audit reports while maintaining high security standards and supporting other teams as required.

You must take pride in your work, presenting yourself well and delivering exceptional customer service. This full-time role, which includes weekend shifts, covers a range of duties, including overseeing security, setting up function rooms for events, storing furniture and equipment, and following end-of-day procedures. You will also assist with guests' food and beverage needs throughout the night. With your attention to detail, you’ll produce audit reports and ensure high security standards are maintained. Personable and engaging, you will interact with guests to exceed their expectations and may be asked to assist the cleaning, bar, and reception teams or act as duty manager when required. Previous night experience in a hotel is preferred, and your commitment to customer service will make a significant impact on the guest experience during the night shift.
