Encore in London is seeking a proactive Concierge to greet residents and visitors, handle queries, and assist with maintenance requests while keeping the lobby welcoming.

You will perform security checks, manage deliveries, and provide local area guidance, with hours 7am–7pm on a 4-on/4-off cycle. A customer service or security background is valued, with health and safety awareness beneficial.

Qualifications

• Excellent written and verbal communication.

Responsibilities

• Welcome residents and visitors; greet warmly and assist with maintenance requests.

• Location: London - Please ensure you live no more than a 60 minute commute from the site.

• Annual Salary: £29,870

• Hours/Working Pattern: 7am-7pm, 4 on 4 off

What You'll Be Doing:

• Welcome and Assist: Greet residents and visitors warmly, making them feel at home. Handle queries and assist with maintenance requests.

• Problem-Solving: Address issues promptly, from maintenance to emergencies, and escape concerns to the building manager as needed.

• Security: Conduct regular site walk-arounds, check IDs, and monitor CCTV to maintain building safety.

• Parcel Management: Handle and record deliveries for residents ensuring a smooth communication and pick up.

• Maintain Presentation: Keep the concierge area and lobby looking presentable.

• Safety Checks: Looking out for H&S hazards on site patrol, Assist with fire alarm, emergency lighting, and smoke vent testing.

• Local Knowledge: Offer advice and recommendations about the local area to enhance residents’ experience.

What You'll Bring:

• Experience as a concierge is a plus, but a strong customer service or security background is equally valued.

• Excellent communication skills – both written and verbal.

• Health & safety qualifications are advantageous but not essential.

• A positive, can-do attitude, attention to detail, and the ability to handle responsibilities with care.
