Encore in London is seeking a proactive Concierge to join our team, delivering outstanding customer service to residents and visitors.

You will greet people, manage queries, handle maintenance requests, monitor safety, and support with parcel deliveries while maintaining a welcoming lobby environment.

Qualifications

• Experience in concierge or front-of-house is preferred.
• Strong communication and customer service skills.
• Health & safety awareness is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Welcome and assist residents and visitors, handling queries and maintenance requests.
• Address issues promptly and escalate as needed.
• Assist with security tasks, including access checks and CCTV monitoring.
• Manage and record deliveries for residents.
• Keep the lobby and concierge area presentable.
• Perform safety checks and assist with alarms and emergency lighting.

Join Our Team as a Concierge in London!

If you’re committed to maintaining high standards and resolving issues efficiently, this role is perfect for you.

• Location: London, EC1A
• Annual Salary: £30,000-£32,000
• Hours/Working Pattern: 4 on 4 off, 7pm-7am

What You'll Be Doing:

• Welcome and Assist: Greet residents and visitors warmly, making them feel at home. Handle queries and assist with maintenance requests.
• Problem-Solving: Address issues promptly, from maintenance to emergencies, and elevate concerns as needed.
• Security: Conduct regular site walk-arounds, check IDs, and monitor CCTV to maintain building safety.
• Parcel Management: Handle and record deliveries for residents ensuring a smooth communication and pick up.
• Maintain Presentation: Keep the concierge area and lobby looking presentable.
• Safety Checks: Looking out for H&S hazards on site patrol, Assist with fire alarm, emergency lighting, and smoke vent testing.
• Local Knowledge: Offer advice and recommendations about the local area to enhance residents’ experience.

What You'll Bring:

• Experience as a concierge is a plus, but a strong customer service or security background is equally valued.
• Excellent communication skills – both written and verbal.
• Health & safety qualifications are advantageous but not essential.
• A positive, can-do attitude, attention to detail, and the ability to handle responsibilities with care.
