Job summary

Waythrough is seeking a Data Training and Support Officer for the Gambling Prevention Team in the West Midlands. This permanent, full-time role focuses on data systems, referrals, and performance reporting to improve services for gambling-related harm.

You will manage client information systems, provide training on data processes and ensure governance and information management compliance across the service.

Qualifications

• Experience in a data administration or business support role with ability to manage electronic databases and produce reports.
• Strong IT skills including Excel, Word, Outlook and experience using case management or data recording systems.
• Excellent attention to detail, able to manage multiple tasks while meeting deadlines.
• Understanding of data protection, confidentiality and information governance with a professional approach.

Responsibilities

• Process referrals and maintain accurate, up-to-date client records using electronic case management systems.
• Produce, analyse and distribute performance reports to support service monitoring and continuous improvement.
• Support colleagues with data entry, system queries and basic training, promoting high standards of data quality and accuracy.
• Help ensure compliance with data protection, information governance and confidentiality requirements across the service.
• Work collaboratively with internal teams, commissioners and partner organisations to support the Gambling Prevention Service.
