iwoca is seeking a Data Scientist for the Third-Party Acquisition (3PA) Germany team in London. You will design experiments and build models to understand how brokers and partners drive lending to small businesses, turning data into practical recommendations for commercial and product teams.

You'll lead analytical projects end-to-end, from framing questions to delivering decisions, and collaborate with the analytics guild across IWoca's UK broker and partner teams.

Qualifications

• Background in probability and statistics from a quantitative field.
• Experience designing and analysing experiments; estimating causal effects.
• Ability to turn data into actionable recommendations.
• Analytical ownership from framing problems to decisions.
• Proficient coding for analysis in Python; R is acceptable.
• Experience using AI to augment analyses; validate outputs.
• Strong written and spoken communication for non-technical colleagues.
• Commercial awareness of lending or finance.

Responsibilities

• Design and analyse funnel experiments across broker and partner channels.
• Build and validate statistical and ML models.
• Translate findings into recommendations for commercial and product teams.
• Define questions to answer and guide project priorities.
• Share methods with the iwoca analytics guild.
