Job summary

Elevate is seeking an experienced Data Privacy Lawyer for a 6-month contract to provide legal advice across privacy and data protection matters. The role sits in a fast-paced AI technology environment as the business scales its products and services.

You will advise on UK GDPR, DPIAs, international data transfers, data sharing, and draft/privacy notices and DPAs while collaborating with commercial, product, engineering teams and external advisers. UK-qualified solicitor preferred.

Qualifications

• UK-qualified solicitor or equivalent qualification.
• Strong experience in data protection and privacy law, ideally in-house or within a technology-focused law firm.
• Strong knowledge of UK GDPR and wider EU data protection principles.
• Experience advising technology, SaaS, AI or digital businesses.
• Exposure to AI privacy, regulatory or data governance matters desirable.
• Commercially minded, pragmatic and comfortable working in a fast-paced environment.
• Able to work independently and engage confidently with senior stakeholders.
