Job summary

Greene King, the country’s leading pub company and brewer, is seeking a Data Protection Specialist to oversee compliance with UK GDPR, the Data Protection Act and PECR. You will manage disclosure requests, coordinate with pubs, IT and support teams, and assist with document redaction and rights requests.

The role also involves logging actions, supporting the DPO, maintaining RoPA, handling data incidents, and contributing to governance discussions to improve data protection across the business.

Qualifications

• Experience handling data subject rights requests.
• Ability to coordinate with IT, support centres and pub teams to retrieve data.
• Familiarity with RoPA, privacy notices and data incidents handling.

Responsibilities

• Manage requests for disclosure of personal data from third parties.
• Liaise with support centre and pub teams to retrieve data and CCTV recordings.
• Prepare personal data for sharing with data subjects and third parties, including redaction.
• Ensure requests are processed quickly, efficiently and on time, escalating when needed.
• Keep accurate records of progress and outcomes.
