Job summary

Greene King seeks a Data Protection Coordinator to respond to data subject access requests and shield the business from data protection risks. The role involves liaising with data subjects, third parties, and internal teams to retrieve and redact data, manage CCTV data, and maintain RoPA records.

Experience is not strictly required, but a data protection interest or degree is useful; training and professional development are provided within a leading UK hospitality group.

Qualifications

• Respond to data subject access requests promptly and accurately.
• Correspond with data subjects by telephone and email to acknowledge and respond to rights requests.
• Manage requests for disclosure of personal data to police, insurers, licensing authorities, or third parties.
• Liaise with support centre, pub team leaders, IT and property teams to retrieve data, including CCTV.
• Prepare personal data for sharing with correct redaction and, if needed, video edits.
• Ensure requests are processed quickly, efficiently, and on time by law; escalate complex cases to the DPO.
• Keep accurate records of progress and outcomes for each request.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate data subject rights activities and ensure timely responses.
• Communicate with data subjects via phone and email regarding rights requests.
• Handle data disclosure requests from third parties and coordinate with relevant teams.
• Collaborate with IT, support and pub operations to obtain required data.
