Job summary

WeDoData are seeking an experienced Data Migration Specialist to join a client on a 6-month fixed-term contract to move data to a new CRM for a major NGO in London. You will work hands-on with SQL to extract, cleanse, transform and migrate data while ensuring high data quality.

You will maintain mapping docs and runbooks, support cutovers and collaborate with partners to ensure accurate CRM data. Experience leading large-scale migrations is essential.

Qualifications

• Strong SQL skills and hands-on data migration experience.
• Experience leading a large-scale legacy system migration.
• Familiarity with Agile delivery methodologies.
• Experience with CareNG or similar non-profit CRMs is a bonus.

Data Migration Specialist required for 6 month fixed term contract in Non-Profit sector

WeDoData are looking for an experienced Data Migration Specialist to join a client of ours on a 6 month fixed term contract to support a major programme of change and move to a new CRM.

Our client is a well known, international non-governmental organisation (NGO) headquartered in London

This is a hands-on role where you’ll work with data from legacy systems, using SQL to extract, cleanse, transform and migrate it, while keeping a close eye on data quality.

You’ll also maintain mapping documentation and technical runbooks, support migration cutovers and work with colleagues and external partners to make sure the data going into the new CRM is accurate and reliable.

You’ll need strong SQL skills and solid experience of data migration, including complex cross-system mappings. Experience with CareNG or a similar not-for-profit CRM would be particularly useful, as would an understanding of payment processing such as Direct Debits and Gift Aid.

Absolutely essential is experience of leading a larger scale migration of a legacy system.

Experience with Agile delivery, Salesforce/AgentForce for Non-Profits or FinDock would be a bonus.

Salary available is £48,559, plus its a 35-hour-a-week mainly remote role (1 day or less per month on-site), working within a team that is changing how my client uses their data and technology.
