Job summary

Qualifications

• Experience leading data migration in a complex programme or transformation environment.
• Strong understanding of data migration principles: profiling, cleansing, mapping, validation, reconciliation, cutover readiness.
• Experience with large/complex datasets and data quality issues.
• Establish governance, controls or assurance to improve data quality and confidence.
• Ability to lead through others, set direction, manage priorities and multi-stakeholder delivery.
• Strong stakeholder management across business, technical and delivery partner teams.
• Ability to communicate complex data/technical issues to non-technical audiences, including senior stakeholders.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with evidence-based recommendations.
• Understanding of data protection and information security.
• Comfort in changing programme environments, managing ambiguity, risks and dependencies.

Location: Bristol - 3 Days per Week. Travel: London / Reading when required (Will count as office day)

Contract Length: 31st March 2027 (Potential to extend to 12 Months)

Essential

• Experience leading or coordinating data migration, data management, data cleansing or data quality activity in a complex programme or transformation environment.
• Strong understanding of data migration principles, including data profiling, cleansing, mapping, validation, reconciliation and cutover readiness.
• Experience working with large or complex datasets, with the ability to identify data quality issues and turn analysis into practical action.
• Experience establishing governance, controls or assurance arrangements to improve data quality, consistency and confidence.
• Ability to lead through others, set direction, manage priorities and maintain delivery grip across multiple stakeholder groups.
• Strong stakeholder management skills, with experience working across business, technical and delivery partner teams.
• Ability to communicate complex data or technical issues clearly to non-technical audiences, including senior stakeholders.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with sound judgement and the ability to make evidence-based recommendations.
• Understanding of data protection, information security and the need to handle sensitive people data appropriately.
• Confidence working in a changing programme environment, managing ambiguity, risks, issues and dependencies.
