Places for People is seeking a Data Architect to lead the design and governance of our data platform. You will shape the data mesh strategy, ensure interoperability, and guide the deployment of robust data products across the organisation.

You will collaborate with Principal Data Platform and Principal Data Engineers, mentor teams, and drive architecture decisions to align with GDPR and security standards. DBS checks apply as part of safeguarding responsibilities.

Qualificações

• Experience as a Data Solutions Architect or similar role.
• Good understanding of Google''s BigQuery platform.
• Expertise in data platform architecture, configuration, and optimisation with a focus on MPP databases like Google BigQuery.
• Strong knowledge of data mesh principles, database design, data warehousing concepts, and ETL/ELT processes.
• Exceptional problem solving and analytical skills with the ability to explain complex solutions clearly.

• Collaborate with engineering and product teams to deliver scalable data products.
