Job summary

Databricks is seeking a Field Engineer and solutions architect to partner with Account Executives in London and across the UK. You will translate customer challenges into scalable data architectures using the Databricks Data Intelligence Platform, and you will own technical engagements from discovery to proof of concept.

This role requires hands-on design, demonstrations, and workshops; you will build reference architectures, guide adoption, and travel 20–30% across UK&I, commuting to London

Qualifications

• Experience in solutions architecture or technical consulting/pre-sales.
• Hands-on approach to solving customer problems.
• Familiarity with data engineering, data warehousing or AI/ML concepts is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Form successful relationships with clients, delivering technical and business value with account executives.
• Act as an expert in big data analytics to guide architecture, design and implementation.
• Author reference architectures, how-tos and demos; lead workshops and meet-ups.
• Be a hands-on advisor for modern data and AI architectures on the Databricks Platform.
• Grow knowledge to specialist level and build internal partnerships.
