Job summary

Akkodis is recruiting a Data & Insights Specialist to enable data-led decisions across an Enterprise Change Portfolio. You will provide expert analysis, performance tracking and visual storytelling to senior stakeholders, including ExCo, on a 12-month FTC in the West Midlands.

In this hybrid role you will deliver insightful reports, monitor KPIs, support budget forecasting, and mentor colleagues to raise data literacy.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in a Data and Insight role ideally within a Change or Project Management environment.
• Strong knowledge and experience with Power BI and Excel for data visualisation and modelling.
• Proven analytical skills with the ability to interpret large datasets and present findings clearly.
• Experience in producing and presenting briefing material for Portfolio governance and change leadership teams on the status of a Portfolio.
• Strong stakeholder management skills.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal with the ability to build relationships.

Responsibilities

• Deliver insightful analysis and reporting using advanced data manipulation and visualisation techniques.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to identify analytical needs and provide thematic insights that enhance decision making.
• Monitor key performance indicators and resource allocation trends, offering recommendations to optimise delivery outcomes.
• Lead the production of accurate, timely, and engaging reports that support portfolio governance and performance tracking.
• Support budget forecasting and expenditure monitoring to ensure financial alignment with departmental objectives.
• Coach and mentor colleagues to build data literacy and foster a culture of continuous improvement.
• Analyse programme and project controls to identify risks, issues, and dependencies, helping to mitigate potential impacts.
