Job summary

Akkodis is seeking a Project Communications Specialist for a 6-month interim assignment in the United Kingdom. This hands-on role requires a senior communications professional who can hit the ground running, delivering clear engagement across multiple projects and coordinating with project managers and stakeholders.

You will develop and deliver change communications plans, conduct rapid audits, create engaging internal content, and advise teams on stakeholder engagement.

Qualifications

• Significant experience in change communications and internal engagement.
• Ability to work autonomously and manage senior stakeholders.
• Experience in public sector, local government, NHS, education, membership organisations or large-scale transformation environments would be advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Develop and deliver communications and engagement plans for change projects.
• Conduct rapid communications audits and identify priority/high-risk programmes.
• Work closely with project and programme managers and key stakeholders.
• Create clear, engaging internal communications and content.
• Advise teams on stakeholder engagement and change communications.
• Support employee understanding, engagement and adoption of change.
• Introduce effective communications planning and identify quick‑win opportunities.
• Manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment with minimal supervision.
