Job summary

Modis International Ltd is seeking an experienced Data & Analytics leader to drive strategy, governance, and programme delivery across multiple sites in the UK. The role emphasises leadership over hands-on coding, with responsibility for building scalable data solutions and establishing robust standards.

You will mentor analysts, shape data maturity, and govern data architecture, reporting, and integration while engaging senior stakeholders to align data initiatives with business goals.

Qualifications

• Proven experience leading Data, BI, Analytics, or Data Engineering teams.
• Strong background in Business Intelligence and analytics solution delivery.
• Advanced experience with Power BI and reporting platforms.
• Strong SQL and database expertise.
• Experience designing and maintaining enterprise data models and data solutions.

Responsibilities

• Lead, mentor, and develop a team of analysts and technical specialists.
• Own and maintain documentation, governance frameworks, and technical standards.
• Drive continuous improvement to optimise processes and efficiency.
• Establish and refine methodologies and ways of working across the data function.
• Lead technical decision-making and solution design with focus on scalability and security.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to translate business requirements into data-driven solutions.
• Oversee data architecture, integration processes, and enterprise data modelling.
• Ensure data quality, governance, compliance, and reporting standards.
• Manage the roadmap for data and analytics platforms and evaluate emerging technologies.
