Job summary

Akkodis is seeking an experienced Data/BI Analyst for a contract role in Manchester. The position is Outside IR35, with 2–3 days on site per week. You will design Power BI dashboards, build data models and perform SQL-driven analysis to deliver clear, actionable insights across the business.

You will work closely with data engineering and stakeholder teams to translate requirements into robust reporting solutions, maintain data quality, and automate recurring reports for faster decision making.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Data/BI Analyst with Power BI and SQL.
• Ability to analyze datasets and translate requirements into reporting.
• Strong stakeholder engagement and data quality focus.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop Power BI dashboards and reports.
• Analyse complex datasets to identify trends and insights.
• Collaborate with data engineering and stakeholders to gather requirements.
• Build data models, DAX measures and visualisations using Power BI best practices.
• Ensure data quality through validation and reconciliation processes.
• Automate recurring reporting and improve dashboards.
