Job summary

The Methodist Church in Britain is recruiting a 12-month fixed-term data and intelligence post for Foster4, a collaborative service that recruits foster carers for nine Cheshire and Merseyside councils. The role concentrates on analysing marketing funnels, mapping regional demographics and building real-time dashboards to inform recruitment efforts.

Applicants from current fostering service staff are prioritised; permanent council staff must apply as an internal secondment.

Qualifications

• Experience of working effectively in a busy, pressured environment.
• Experience of using own initiative to prioritise work and meet deadlines.
• Ability to converse at ease with customers and give advice in accurate spoken English.

Responsibilities

• Analyse marketing funnels, map regional demographics and track applicant journeys to find where new foster families can be recruited and supported.
• Design and maintain real-time dashboards tracking the end-to-end recruitment journey.
• Produce clear, actionable data stories and reports.
• Use insights to shape regional recruitment strategies.
• Ensure data collection, sharing and storage align with statutory frameworks and GDPR.
