Job summary

Essex Partnership University NHS Foundation Trust is recruiting a Data Governance Officer to support the Data Governance Manager in delivering robust data governance across the Trust. You will act as a specialist contact for data quality and governance advice, ensuring data used for analytics and reporting is well‑defined and aligned to policy.

You will help maintain data standards, develop the data dictionary and KPI library, and promote data governance policies across services.

Responsibilities

• Act as a subject matter advisor on data governance and data quality issues
• Communicate complex data quality and compliance issues to non‑technical audiences
• Facilitate discussions with services to agree actions to address data quality issues
• Regular production of complex data quality reports
• Develop dashboards in collaboration with the Performance and Insights team
