Job summary

Nationwide is building a data-driven culture to support its modernisation and transformation goals. As a Data Governance manager, you will embed robust data management practices across Retail Products and champion governance across the Society.

You will establish and maintain metadata management capabilities, including data lineage and data quality reporting, while collaborating with business SMEs to promote a data-driven culture and improved decision-making across product ranges.

Qualifications

• Experience in data governance and metadata management.
• Ability to build relationships with stakeholders across the business.
• Experience embedding good data management practices across organisational data assets.

Responsibilities

• Identify, define and document critical data assets within a central metadata repository.
• Champion data management best practices and governance aligned with the Data Governance Policy.
• Build strong relationships with stakeholders across the business to promote a data-driven culture.
