Job summary

Pulse Group is recruiting a Senior Data Governance Analyst for a major global retailer's digital transformation. You will shape data governance across the digital estate, work with Collibra on data cataloguing, and build glossaries and metadata while establishing accountability for Data Owners and Data Champions.

The role focuses on hands-on governance in a scalable, enterprise context, with collaboration across Digital, Product, Architecture and Engineering teams and an Anchor Day on Monday in

Qualifications

• Experience with data governance and data cataloguing in a digital/data environment.
• Experience with Collibra or similar governance tools (Alation/Informatica Governance/Axon acceptable).
• Experience with modern data platforms (Databricks) and data lineage.
• Ability to work with both technical and business stakeholders.
• Retail, FMCG or regulated environments with digital platforms is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Delivering the Data Governance Framework across digital transformation initiatives.
• Cataloguing digital data assets within Collibra.
• Building and maintaining business glossaries and technical metadata.
• Establishing Data Owner and Data Champion accountability.
• Mapping end-to-end data lineage across key data flows.
• Defining data quality rules, thresholds and acceptance criteria.
• Collaborating with Digital, Product, Architecture and Engineering teams.
• Leading workshops and helping stakeholders adopt the governance framework.
