Job summary

RS is seeking a Data Governance Manager on a 12‑month FTC to lead data quality, integrity, and compliance across product data and ERP master data. Hybrid work in Manchester or Corby, UK, with a team of 9 data governance professionals across UK and Latvia.

The role requires strong data governance experience, collaboration with Product Management, CX, and IT, and the ability to maintain compliant, well‑governed data across systems.

Qualifications

• Strong understanding of data modelling, data dictionaries, and metadata management.
• Hands-on experience with product specification data (BOMs, attributes, technical specs).
• Familiarity with ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, Dynamics) and how they handle master data.
• Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
• Experience with data quality frameworks and tools.
• Exposure to PLM systems and product lifecycle data processes.
• Familiarity with data cataloguing tools (Collibra, Alation) or MDM platforms.
• Working knowledge of regulatory standards (ISO, GDPR) as they relate to data.
• Capability to lead data governance councils.

Responsibilities

• Lead and mentor a team of 9 Data Governance & System Executives and Product Information Coordinators across UK and Latvia.
• Improve data accuracy and consistency to enhance product data quality and customer satisfaction.
• Ensure compliance with internal data standards and external regulations.
• Provide clean, reliable data to support analytics, reporting, and strategic decisions.
• Support ERP master data integrity across systems.
