Kids Planet Day Nurseries is seeking an experienced Data Governance Lead to design and embed a robust data governance framework across the organisation. Reporting to the CTO, you will own data classification, handling, retention and protection throughout its lifecycle.

The role collaborates with nursery operations, People, finance and digital teams to ensure staff understand data responsibilities and comply with UK GDPR, DPIAs and RoPA requirements. Hybrid working in Altrincham/Remote.

Competenze

• Experience in a data governance, data protection, or information management role.
• Strong knowledge of UK GDPR and Data Protection Act 2018.
• Ability to design and implement data governance frameworks.

Mansioni

• Develop and continuously improve the Data Governance Framework.
• Define policies for data creation, storage, retention, sharing and secure deletion.
• Lead a Data Governance Working Group across departments.
• Maintain data asset registers and data flow mapping.
• Lead the evaluation and deployment of DLP tooling and data usage governance.
