Kids Planet Day Nurseries Ltd. seeks an experienced Data Governance Lead to design, implement, and embed a robust data governance framework.

Reporting to the CTO, you will own data classification, handling, retention, and protection across the organisation. The role requires collaboration with nursery operations, People, finance, and digital teams to ensure staff understand data responsibilities and compliance with UK GDPR and sector regulations.

Qualificações

• Demonstrable experience in data governance, data protection, or information management roles.
• Strong knowledge of UK GDPR and Data Protection Act 2018.
• Proven ability to design and implement data governance frameworks and policies.
• Experience managing DSARs, DPIAs, and RoPA.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to explain governance to non-specialists.

Responsabilidades

• Develop, own, and continuously improve the Data Governance Framework across the organisation.
• Define data policies: creation, storage, retention, sharing, and deletion.
• Chair a Data Governance Working Group across functions to embed data stewardship.
• Maintain data asset registers and map critical data flows.
• Lead DLP tooling procurement, policy definition, and remediation actions.
