DWP Digital is hiring a Lead Data Governance Manager to join the Chief Data Office Leadership Team. You will shape the governance framework across a major public sector body, influencing senior leaders and delivering governance products that ensure data is used ethically, securely and effectively.

Your role will drive strategic change, build partnerships across the organisation and embed a strong data culture while working in a hybrid model and contributing to great work-life balance.

Formación

• Experience of establishing, implementing and leading data governance frameworks, policies, standards and controls within a large organisation.
• Strong understanding of balancing data value with legal, ethical, security and privacy considerations.
• Proven ability to identify and manage strategic risks and complex issues.
• Proven record of developing and delivering strategic change and governance products or operating practices.
• Demonstrable success in leading people and delivery in a changing organisational landscape.

Responsabilidades

• Lead the evolution of data governance across DWP, influencing senior leaders and driving adoption of governance practices.
• Deliver products and services that enable data to be used ethically, securely and effectively.
• Lead governance products, services, policies and frameworks that enable data to be used legally and effectively.
• Influence decision-making and champion a strong data culture across the organisation.
• Lead multidisciplinary teams and oversee continuous improvement of governance services.
