Job summary

Cardiff Council’s Education and Lifelong Learning Directorate is seeking a data-driven planner to help secure high-quality school places across the city. You will research, collate evidence from multiple sources, and produce clear reports to support the School Organisation Programme.

The role requires Welsh language ability to Level 4 Advanced, strong IT skills with spreadsheets, and excellent communication.

Qualifications

• Experience researching from multiple sources and producing clear reports.
• Proficiency with IT, especially spreadsheets, to support analysis of complex information.
• Strong communication and organisational skills, with ability to engage diverse stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Plan and ensure sufficient high-quality school places across Cardiff.
• Research, collate evidence, and develop information for the School Organisation Programme.
• Develop tools and processes for school organisation issues and produce documentation for key decision-makers.
• Engage with colleagues across the Council and its partners to support programme delivery.
