Job summary

East Coast College is seeking an English & Maths Intervention Coach to support learners at the Lowestoft and Great Yarmouth Campus. The role focuses on using learner data to identify those needing additional support and coordinating targeted interventions that drive improved outcomes.

This permanent post is term-time-only (40 weeks) with 37 hours per week, with salary Band G points 21–23 depending on qualifications and experience. Safeguarding is a key requirement.

Qualifications

• Minimum Level 2 or equivalent in English and maths.
• Experience using learner data to identify developmental needs.
• Ability to collaborate with Curriculum Managers and teaching staff.

Responsibilities

• Support learners to achieve better progress, attendance and outcomes.
• Coordinate targeted interventions using learner data.
