Job summary

CBRE Global Workplace Solutions seeks a Business Unit Technical Manager to oversee critical facilities across London and surrounding areas, leading mechanical and electrical maintenance in data centres and ensuring high performance.

You will act as Senior Authorized Person for HV, manage root cause analysis, safety, audits and client interfaces, and oversee maintenance planning, subcontractors, and CBRE quality management compliance.

Qualifications

• Proven track record in mechanical and electrical maintenance engineering.
• Experience operating in data centre environments.
• Excellent interpersonal and client-facing skills.

Responsibilities

• Ensure critical facilities in Data Centres operate to a high standard.
• Act as Senior Authorized Person for HV.
• Perform root cause analysis / post problem reviews of faults.
• Conduct scenario / best drill training with engineering staff.
• Interface with clients to ensure satisfaction and understanding of systems.
