Job summary

Nova Artes Engineering in the North West is seeking a hands-on Data Centre Supervisor to support the operation of a critical data centre environment. You will coordinate MAC activities, supervise engineers, manage cabling installations and asset records to ensure safety and technical standards are met.

This permanent role offers a competitive £48,000 salary, a benefits package and development opportunities within a fast-paced, live data hall setting.

Qualifications

• Data Centre MAC, Moves Adds & Changes experience required.
• Experience with data centre cabling installations (structured copper and fibre).
• Strong asset management and lifecycle control.
• Rack installation, patching and equipment deployment experience.
• Evidence of data hall/white-space operations exposure.
• Ability to supervise engineers, technicians or contractors.
• Experience with RAMS, permits and safe systems of work.

Responsibilities

• Supervise day-to-day engineering and operational activity within the data centre.
• Coordinate MAC - Moves, Adds & Changes across the facility.
• Oversee and support cabling installations, including structured copper and fibre infrastructure.
• Manage installation, movement and decommissioning of equipment.
• Maintain accurate asset registers, inventory and equipment records.
