Job summary

Crown Holdings, Inc. is seeking an experienced leader to own the server and storage infrastructure for its European IT environment.

You will drive reliability, performance, and security across data centres, backups and DR processes, while ensuring governance and cost-effective operations. You will mentor the Data Centre and Performance teams, collaborate with cross-functional units, and implement modern monitoring strategies to support the organisation's manufacturing IT landscape.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in IT or a related field.
ITIL Foundation and PRINCE2 certifications.
Minimum 5 years' experience in Microsoft-based IS infrastructure.
Demonstrated leadership experience.
Strong knowledge of server technologies and performance monitoring.
Experience developing and implementing new server platforms.
Experience in manufacturing IT environments.
Experience coordinating activities across multiple geographies.

Responsibilities

Investigate and respond to server and performance incidents with a focus on continual service improvement.
Develop efficient disaster recovery plans and test them regularly.
Ensure backups meet RTO and RPO objectives.
Collaborate with business units to align infrastructure with current and future needs.
Define and deliver secure, reliable server and data centre strategies while managing costs.
Identify new technologies to improve monitoring solutions and standards.
Coordinate operations with third-party and internal teams.
Provide leadership and day-to-day management of the Data Centre and Performance team.
