Job summary

CBRE is seeking a HVAP Data Centre Technician to join the Canary Wharf site. You will be responsible for controlling and supervising planned and reactive maintenance, liaising with Engineering management and client personnel to ensure compliance with site policies and HSE requirements.

The role supports the engineering shift teams to maintain safe, high-quality operations. The successful candidate will operate as an Authorised Person, ensuring safety paperwork is completed to a high standard

Qualifications

• HV authorisation and safety awareness are essential.
• Current Wiring Regulations certificate required.
• Level 3 NVQ in relevant discipline.
• Emergency First Aid at Work qualification held.
• Experience in real-time incident/fault management in a business-critical environment.
• Demonstrable experience in a similar role.

Responsibilities

• Carry out routine maintenance on building plant, equipment and systems.
• Respond to BMS alarms and perform emergency repairs as needed.
• Prepare and review RAMS and safe working procedures.
• Supervise and coordinate with subcontractors as required.
• Maintain comprehensive maintenance records (CAFM reports).
• Support shift teams to meet service level agreements.
