Job summary

Gazelle Global is seeking a data centre analyst to ensure safe and reliable operation of the data centre estate, conduct asset audits, and maintain DCIM accuracy. The role involves coordinating changes, incident tickets, and incident management within SLAs.

You will represent the data centre in CABs and assist in audits, with emphasis on both IT infrastructure and facilities management. The ideal candidate has 12+ months in a data centre, experience installing/removing IT equipment, and

Qualifications

• Own vehicle and able to travel to five locations at short notice.
• At least 12 months’ experience in a data centre environment.
• Experience installing and de-installing IT equipment in data centres.
• Knowledge of the ITIL framework.
• Strong understanding of electrical and mechanical systems in data centres (generators, UPS, cooling).
• Use experience and technical acumen to guide stakeholders interfacing with Data Centres.
• Solid grasp of IT infrastructure (compute, storage, network) and facilities management.

Responsibilities

• Ensure safe and reliable operation of the data centre estate to protect housed services.
• Conduct regular IT asset audits to uphold data accuracy and compliance.
• Maintain accuracy in DCIM tool to monitor capacity limits.
• Manage changes and risks through Change Control Process.
• Raise change or incident tickets as necessary.
• Provide incident management support within defined SLAs.
• Represent the data centre estate in CABs, workshops, and multidisciplinary events.
• Validate technical designs to ensure safe housing and supportability.
• Deliver data centre inductions and maintain access records for safety.
• Prepare for and complete all required audits.
