Job summary

Intercontinental Exchange Holdings, Inc. is seeking a Data Centre Technician to ensure all tasks in the Data Centre conform to procedures and best practices. The role involves daily checks, security monitoring, asset tracking, and collaboration with Data Centre Engineers on work orders.

You will work with third-party vendors, support Change Control processes, and document activities in Service Now. Strong ITIL understanding and hardware knowledge are essential.

Qualifications

• Experience working in Data Centre environments.
• Experience using Microsoft Office and CRM databases.
• Experience of hardware installation standards and knowledge of copper and fiber cabling installations.

Responsibilities

• First line escalation point for serious incidents or technical issues.
• Execution of MACs in the Data Centre and Access Centres for internal and external customers.
• Manage asset records, track location and status of hardware.
• Carry out daily checks to ensure security and access policies are followed.
• Carry out QA in Data Centre Halls and access centres.
• Record details of hardware deliveries from S&R.
• Control Data Centre stocks and report accordingly.
