Job summary

TGS International Group is seeking an experienced Data Centre Supervisor to oversee MAC and BAU activities across client data centre environments in the United Kingdom. You will coordinate site teams, internal staff and third-party vendors in a high-availability, 24/7 setting to maintain SLA performance and service excellence.

The role requires strong leadership, cabling expertise and solid knowledge of data centre infrastructure, with a focus on safety, documentation and continuous improvements

Qualifications

• Experience in data centre MAC in a high-availability environment.
• Hands-on experience with structured cabling installation, testing and fault finding.
• Strong knowledge of copper and fibre cabling and data centre infrastructure.
• Experience with asset management, ticketing systems and service delivery processes.
• Proven ability to supervise teams and coordinate shift activities.
• Experience managing third-party vendors in large-scale environments.
• Certification: CCNA/ITIL or BICSI-type credentials preferred.

Responsibilities

• Deliver and supervise MAC and BAU activities across data centre environments.
• Plan, schedule and coordinate works in line with client requirements.
• Monitor SLA performance and escalate risks or issues.
• Supervise cabling, installation, decommissioning and equipment handling.
• Manage workload allocation, resource planning and shift coverage.
• Coordinate with clients, internal teams and third-party vendors.
• Support incident management and first-line troubleshooting.
• Maintain documentation, reporting, ticketing and asset tracking systems.
• Ensure compliance with Health & Safety and client processes.
• Attend meetings and contribute to service improvements.
