Job summary

The Belfry Hotel & Resort on site in the West Midlands is seeking a Data Analyst to join the commercial team reporting to the head of resort revenue. You will provide strategic analytical support and business intelligence across the resort, enabling data-driven decisions and commercial success.

Qualifications

• Advanced Excel skills including PivotTables, Power Query, complex formulas and dashboard design.
• Strong experience using R/RStudio for data transformation, automation and reporting.
• Experience developing automated reporting solutions, dashboards and BI tools.
• Excellent analytical thinking with attention to detail and ability to translate data into business insights.

Responsibilities

• Consolidate, transform and validate data from multiple systems and departmental sources.
• Develop, automate and maintain reports, dashboards and BI tools.
• Produce weekly, monthly and ad hoc analyses to support commercial and operational decision-making.
• Monitor KPIs, identify trends, risks and opportunities.
• Deliver forecasting, pace and performance analysis across revenue streams.
• Maintain data quality, reporting standards and supporting documentation.
• Identify opportunities for automation and process improvement.
• Collaborate with departments to develop reporting solutions and provide actionable insights.
• Support system implementations, upgrades and data migrations.
• Deliver training and guidance to support adoption of reporting tools.
