Job summary

Yorkshire Housing seeks a Damp and Mould Team Leader to steer a specialist frontline service across our housing stock. You’ll lead First Responders, Multiskilled Operatives and Technical Surveyors to diagnose, manage and resolve damp and mould issues while ensuring safety, timeliness and customer satisfaction.

You'll coach and develop a team, balance workloads, monitor KPIs, and work with stakeholders to improve service performance and compliance in line with industry standards and Awaab's Law

Qualifications

• Experience leading operational or technical teams.
• Strong knowledge of damp and mould, condensation and building pathology.
• Awareness of Awaab's Law and resulting housing sector impact.

Responsibilities

• Lead a team of First Responders, Multiskilled Operatives and Technical Surveyors to diagnose, manage and resolve damp and mould issues.
• Provide day-to-day leadership, coaching and technical guidance to ensure timely, safe case resolution and high customer experience.
• Monitor performance using KPIs, identify risks and drive continuous improvement across operations and contractors.
• Oversee contractor performance and ensure activity complies with industry standards and legislation.
