Job summary

Wolverhampton Homes is seeking a Healthy Homes Advisor to join our Property Services team. You will visit residents’ homes to diagnose damp, mould and condensation issues, carry out clear, empathetic conversations, and provide practical guidance to maintain a safe living environment.

You will support customers through sensitive discussions, perform light mould cleaning where appropriate, and promote knowledge on humidity control, heating use and ventilation.

Qualifications

• Experience in damp, mould or condensation assessment preferred.
• Ability to communicate sensitively with customers.
• Willingness to learn and complete HNC Building Studies.

Responsibilities

• Attend customers' homes to diagnose damp, mould and condensation issues.
• Deliver sensitive conversations and provide clear prevention advice.
• Undertake light cleaning or treatment of small areas of mould following safety procedures.
• Educate customers on humidity management, heating use, and ventilation.
• Identify hazards and triage risks during home visits.
