Job summary

Wolverhampton Homes Ltd seeks a Healthy Homes Advisor to join the Property Services team in Wolverhampton. The role focuses on helping customers tackle damp, mould and condensation issues with empathy and clear guidance, while complying with Awaab’s Law and ensuring safe, healthy homes.

We offer 37 hours per week, permanent employment, and opportunities for progression including the HNC Building Studies qualification.

Qualifications

• Excellent customer service and empathy, even in challenging conversations.

• Willingness to learn and progress in building studies.

Responsibilities

• Attend customers’ homes to diagnose damp, mould and condensation issues and complete accurate assessments.
• Deliver sensitive conversations with customers about housing conditions and behaviours.
• Undertake light cleaning or treatment of small mould areas following health and safety procedures.
• Provide clear, accessible education on humidity management, heating use and ventilation.
• Identify hazards during home visits and escalate safety concerns promptly.
