Job summary

Wates Property Services (WPS) in Birmingham is seeking a proactive Scheduler to join the Damp & Mould Team. You’ll coordinate damp and mould surveys, repairs and maintenance, balancing resident needs with efficient service delivery.

You’ll manage operatives and surveyors’ diaries, schedule appointments, and communicate with residents by phone, email and digital systems while keeping safety and KPIs at the forefront.

Qualifications

• Experience in scheduling, planning, coordination, customer service or administration.
• Excellent diary management and organisational skills.
• Strong customer service and communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Full UK Driving Licence.

Responsibilities

• Manage operative and surveyor diaries to schedule damp & mould inspections and remedial works.
• Coordinate appointments for residents and inform all parties with agreed timescales.
• Act as a key contact for residents, operatives, supervisors and clients.
• Respond quickly to changing priorities and vulnerable resident requirements.
• Monitor work in progress and drive performance against targets and KPIs.
• Produce productivity reports and management information for operations teams.
• Collaborate with Supervisors, Surveyors, Resident Liaison Officers and Contractors to maximise productivity and satisfaction.
• Support the delivery of damp & mould programmes from inspection to completion.
• Communicate with customers via phone, email, and digital systems.
• Identify scheduling challenges and support continuous service improvement.
• Ensure planned works align with Health & Safety procedures and compliance.
