Job summary

Ocean Housing Ltd in Cornwall is seeking a Damp, Mould and Condensation Trade Operative to maintain and improve our housing stock and other properties. You will work as part of the Property Services Team delivering responsive repairs and building work.

The role is permanent full-time (40 hours per week) with a salary of £30,900 per annum. NVQ2 or equivalent and a full clean driving licence are required, with experience across primary and secondary trades in occupied domestic properties.

Qualifications

• NVQ level 2 qualification or equivalent evidenced experience.
• Full clean driving licence.
• Experience and competency in the primary trade and in enabling/secondary trades.
• Experience working in occupied domestic properties.
• Ability to deliver high-quality work with minimal disruption and strong customer service.
• Experience in developing relationships and providing excellent customer service.

Responsibilities

• Primary trade: decoration (washdowns, prep, stain-block, painting).
• Secondary trade: loft insulation, repairs of trickle vents.
• Undertake building maintenance and improvement work, solo or in a team.
• Ensure works are high quality, efficient and offer value for money.
