Job summary

AB Agri is seeking an Area Business Manager to grow and protect dairy sector relationships across Cornwall and South Devon. This field-based role spends most time on farms—building trust, understanding business needs, and turning data, insights and services into real farm value.

It is a 12-month fixed term contract, with 37 hours per week and a salary of £36,937.59 plus a company car/van and a performance-based bonus scheme.

Qualifications

• Experience in sales or account management
• Knowledge of the dairy industry or farming sector
• Strong communication and relationship-building skills
• Willingness to travel within the territory
• Full UK driving licence

Responsibilities

• Manage a portfolio of farm customers with regular on-farm visits
• Prospect non-customers and maintain a robust sales pipeline
• Promote the full NMR service portfolio
• Help farmers use data to improve herd performance and decision-making
• Maintain CRM records and follow-up actions
• Represent AB Agri at industry shows, meetings and events
• Collaborate with partner businesses to deliver joined-up solutions
• Travel extensively within Cornwall and South Devon
