Job summary

Proofpoint is seeking a proactive Business Development Representative to generate qualified sales opportunities for the Commercial sales team across the DACH region. You’ll collaborate with regional sales and marketing to nurture inbound and outbound leads and drive account-based outreach.

You’ll qualify accounts, gather market intelligence, manage campaigns and CRM activity, and schedule demonstrations to connect influencers and decision makers with our sales team.

Qualifications

• Fluent German & English required.
• Experience with CRM systems such as Salesforce is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Qualify and develop inbound and outbound sales accepted leads and respond to product inquiries.
• Gather actionable intelligence for assigned accounts including competition and purchase intent.
• Follow-up on leads generated by marketing and convert interest into sales opportunities.
• Manage email campaigns to generate new sales prospects.
• Manage cold-calling campaigns to generate new prospects.
• Track communications with current and potential customers in Salesforce.
• Schedule demonstrations between Sales team members and potential customers.
