Job summary

Proofpoint is seeking a driven Business Development Representative to generate qualified sales opportunities for the DACH region. You will work with regional sales and marketing to pursue inbound and outbound leads, gather intelligence, and connect influencers and decision makers with the sales team.

You will collaborate with Account Management and Marketing to execute an account-based strategy, qualify prospects, and manage outreach via emails and calls while documenting activity in the CRM.

Qualifications

• Fluent German and English required.
• Excellent phone and interpersonal communication.
• Experience with cloud deployments a plus.
• Familiarity with CRM systems such as Salesforce.

Responsibilities

• Qualify and develop inbound and outbound leads for the DACH region.
• Gather competitive intelligence and identify purchase intent.
• Follow up on marketing leads and schedule demos.
• Manage email campaigns and cold calling to generate prospects.
• Record communications in Salesforce and coordinate with Sales and Marketing.
