Job summary

Proofpoint is seeking a Business Development Representative to generate qualified sales opportunities for our Enterprise sales team across the DACH region (Germany, Austria, Switzerland). You'll partner with regional sales and marketing to drive inbound and outbound activities, gather intelligence on target accounts, and connect influencers and decision-makers with the sales team across vertical markets.

Qualifications

Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English; fluent German as required.
Proven ability to thrive in a goal-driven environment and meet targets.
Experience with CRM systems and managing sales pipelines is a bonus.

Responsibilities

Qualify and develop inbound and outbound sales leads for the Enterprise team.
Gather intelligence on accounts and identify decision makers within prospect lists.
Follow up on leads from marketing and convert interest into qualified opportunities.
Manage email campaigns to generate new sales prospects and nurture relationships.
Conduct cold-calling to secure meetings and demos with potential clients.
Maintain accurate activity records in Salesforce and related tools.
Coordinate demonstrations between Sales and prospects.
