Job summary

Halfords in Watford is seeking a motivated bike service assistant to join our team. You’ll perform service and repair work across a range of cycles and deliver excellent customer service in a busy retail setting.

Ideal candidates have practical bike skills and a passion for cycling, with the ability to work at pace, share expertise with colleagues, and help customers choose and maintain their bikes. Weekend availability is required.

Qualifications

• Experience of service, building and repair across a range of cycles.
• Experience of delivering great customer service, ideally in a retail or cycle services environment.
• Experience of sharing expertise with others.
• Experience of working with - and achieving - sales targets.
• Availability to work on a rota basis, including weekends.

Responsibilities

• Carry out service and repair work on cycles, including kids, adult, premium and electric bikes.
• Help develop other team members while maintaining high quality standards.
• Assist customers in finding and maintaining their dream bike.
• Support the team in achieving sales and service targets.
