Job summary

Halfords is seeking a customer-focused bicycle service assistant in the UK to deliver market-leading cycle service and repair across kids, adult, premium, performance and electric cycles. You’ll carry out service and repair work, help develop teammates and assist customers in choosing their dream bike.

We value practical skills and superb customer service, and offer extensive training and a clear career path within Retail or the Group. Weekend rota availability is expected.

Qualifications

• Experience of service, building and repair across a range of cycles.
• Experience of delivering great customer service, ideally in a retail or cycle services environment.
• Experience of sharing expertise with others.
• Experience of working with - and achieving - sales targets.
• Availability to work on a rota basis, including weekends.

Responsibilities

• Carrying out most of the service and repair work yourself.
• Help develop other members of the team.
• Help customers find and maintain their dream bike.
